I decided to buy this transmitter when my other one, a generic and very cheap trans., broke. The other trans. worked most of the time, but when I drove into Dallas or if the ionosphere was messing with the stations, I would get a lot of static.So I decided to go with a higher quality trans. that would last longer and work better. This trans. actually didn't work nearly as well as the cheap one! When I say cheap, I mean I got it for 5 dolls. on amazon, new!
In order to hear the station I would have to turn up my cars volume almost all the way up, and even then there was always some static in the back ground. Every now and again it would work fine, at high volumes, but not very often. Don't waste your money on this one, there are better ones you can get for less money.
