Nach Erwerb fiel mir quasi fast sofort ein "Clouding" auf. Dieses Phänomen ist scheinbar nicht ganz selten vor allem bei Edge LED TVs. Clouding heißt, dass die Hintergrundbeleuchtung teilweise durchscheint, das ist vor allem bei dunklen Bildern und/oder dunkler Umgebung der Fall. Es äußert sich mit hellen Flecken/Wolken die vom Rand (wo ja die LEDs drinsitzen) ausgehen. Natürlich sofort umgetauscht, das neue Gerät ist in dieser Hinsicht okay.

Zunächst das Wichtigste, das Bild: Ich hatte zuvor einen LCD-Fernseher "HDready" einer anderen bekannten Marke. Was soll ich sagen: Der Philips ist dagegen so viel besser, mich hat es fast umgehauen, dass es so etwas überhaupt gibt. Satte aber natürliche Farben, grandioser Kontrast, knackscharfes Bild, kaum Kantenflimmern und Bewegungsunschärfe. Aber... mit 32" habe ich ihn eine Nummer zu klein gekauft. 40" wären besser gewesen, aber was soll's, dann rücke ich halt näher ran und das Geld dafür hätte sowieso nicht gereicht.



Die Bild-Ausleuchtung ist sehr gleichmäßig. Bei meinem "Alten" gab es das berüchtigte Backlight-Brummen beim Runterregeln der Panel-Helligkeit. Das ist mit LED-Backlight vorbei. Der Fernseher ist mucksmäuschenstill.

Zum Glück hat der Bildschirm keine Hochglanz-"Vergütung" sondern eine sehr ordentliche Antireflex-Schicht, ohne die Farbsättigung nachteilig zu beeinflussen.



Dann das Zweitwichtigste, der Klang: Wie bitte haben die das bei Philips geschafft, aus so einem lautsprecherfeindlichen Flachgehäuse noch einen wirklich angenehmen Klang herauszubekommen? Aber... mit meinem Sennheiser-Kopfhörer klingt's natürlich ganz anders.



An den Anschlüssen habe ich dran hängen:

* PC über HDMI an ATI Radeon 4500 in nativer Auflösung (1920x1080): perfekte Wiedergabe auch von BD.

* DVD-Player (Panasonic DVD-S52) über HDMI. Bei guter DVD-Qualität ist das Bild schon sehr nahe an BD!

* CI+-Modul von Kabel Deutschland: Fernsehen in HD hat was, wirklich war (und selbst das gute alte Analog-Fernsehen sieht gar nicht mal so schlecht aus). Aber... jede Wette: das CI+-Modul bauen Sie erst mal falsch rum ein, bitte nicht zu viel Kraft dabei einsetzen ;-)

* Aber...
